Do I need insurance for my child - Primary School?

Pupils are not automatically covered by insurance for personal accidents during school hours. However, pupils must be adequately covered by insurance for all visits abroad, and within the UK, which involve a foreseeable risk or overnight stay. The head teacher will make these arrangements at the appropriate time.
If you want your children to be covered by insurance for personal accidents during school hours (including visits out of school during school hours and sporting activities), you need to make your own arrangements.
