What are my rights of appeal - Primary School?

If it is not possible for us to offer a place at your preferred school, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.

To appeal, you must write to us stating your case. You can get a booklet advising you of your right to appeal and the appeal procedure from School Admissions by phoning (01642) 526605 or on our website: www.stockton.gov.uk/schooladmissions

We will offer your child a place at another school. Wherever possible this will be your second preference.

If your appeal was not successful and you want to apply again to the same school in the same academic year, we will consider your application only if there have been significant changes in your circumstances that could affect your new application.
