What happens after I have sent in my common application form?
All of the details entered online or entered on your form are transferred to our electronic system. We will also note whether your form has been received on time. If your form is late your preferences will only be considered after all those received on time. The LA exchanges information with neighbouring LA's, VA Admission Authorities and Academies, who allocate places to their schools and pass the information back to the LA. The LA feed all of this information into their electronic system and then run the 'offer scheme. When all pupils have been allocated one school place, emails are sent if you applied online or letters if you completed a form are printed and sent out to parents on the published dates.
