What is a Breakfast Club?

A Breakfast Club is a childcare facility that offers sessional care before school hours. Breakfast Clubs are run by a team of staff called playworkers. Activities are planned to help children learn, play and relax with their friends. Playworkers will often drop children off at local schools. Children attending BreakfastClubs must be registered and picked up by parents/carers.

Some Breakfast Clubs also offer Holiday Clubs and After School Clubs.
