Noise Pollution

What can I do about noisy neighbours?

Many noise problems, particularly those involving neighbours, can be resolved informally, for example by explaining to your neighbours the difficulties they are causing.

Approach your neighbour and explain politely that you are being troubled by noise. It may be that they are unaware of the problem and this personal approach may be more effective than the intervention of local authority officers.

If you do not wish to discuss the problem with your nieghbour or you have been unsuccessful in your approach you can make a complaint to us.
