Microchipping

How does the chip work?

The chip is a small sealed glass unit which lies under the skin of the animal. When a scanner/reader is passed over the inserted chip, a unique number is transmitted to the scanner. The number is unique to your animal only. The chip has no working parts and so will (in theory) last a lifetime.
