What is the air quality like in the Borough today?

We monitor certain pollutants at our air quality monitoring stations at Billingham and Yarm.

We produce a daily air quality bulletin for the public which classifies the air quality in the following bands: -low, moderate, high and very high based on the Government Health Standards.

We currently meet all government targets on air quality and are likely to meet targets in the future [see Air Quality Information Section ]

The daily air qulaity bulletins are produced and displayed at sites throughout the Borough and on this site under Air Quality Bulletin
