What is bulky household waste?

Bulky household waste is the rubbish from your home that will not fit into a wheeled bin or refuse sack. This includes things such as, chairs, tables, settees, wardrobes, beds, fridges, freezers, cookers, microwaves and carpets. But not things like sinks, kitchen units and DIY materials. An easy way to understand this is to think of bulky household waste as the type of things that you might take with you if you were to move house (i.e. Freestanding wardrobe but not a fitted wardrobe).
