What types of work do the Highways Team undertake?

Highway maintenance deal with general Highway repairs on footpaths and roads as well as repairs to street furniture, such as benches, street names plates and signs on all Highways and within local town parks and cemeteries.

CFYA Highway Maintenance are also responsible for gulley cleansing and repair and carry out the winter maintenance service for the Council.

Applications for driveway crossings along with Various licences such as, Opening up Licences and Skip/scaffolding licences can also be requested from CFYA.
