If you are unable to go to your Polling Station on Election Day, you can apply to vote by post or proxy (a proxy is someone who votes on your behalf). You may vote by post for any reason for a specific election, for a particular period or indefinitely. For that period that you chose to vote by post, you will not be allowed to vote at your polling station. There is a deadline for applications so they can be processed prior to an election.
If you require any further information please contact the Electoral Registration Office or you can download the Vote by Post Application form using the link in the "Online Services" below and post it to the Electoral Registration. Proxy
