1. How do I get my name on the electoral register?

By completing a voter register form during the months of January to September.

Each applicant must sign the voter registration form to be added to the register. Any elector can then object to your name being added, if this happens we will write to you.

To obtain a form for the monthly updates either download the voter registration form or contact the electoral registration office and a form can be sent to you.

The Annual Canvass runs between the months of September to November each year where a registration form will be posted to your property. This form can be amended by a member of the household and should then be returned using the pre-paid envelope.

It should also be noted that being on the Council Tax list does not mean that you are on the Electoral Register.
