Bailiff Action - Council Tax

How do I know if the Bailiff is genuine?

The Bailiff must identify himself to you. He should show you:

· an identify card and written authorisation from the Council;

· a copy of the law setting out his powers; and

· a list on which he will write down information about your belongings.
