How much does it cost to hire security staff?

The Council's Security Services provide a 24 hour, 365 day a year operation from it's purpose built control room next to the Police Station in the centre of Stockton-on-Tees.



All our staff have received training from Cleveland Police in P.A.C.E. and other aspects of legal administration, they are first-aiders and all have gone through rigorous training and checks with the appropriate authorities.

The costs are as follows:-


  • £11.10 per hour/per officer for static guarding.
  • £10.25 per patrol
  • £44.00 to escort to site, plus £11.10/hr for every hour thereafter spent on site.
  • £44.00 per callout, plus £11.10/hr for every hour thereafter spent on site.
All prices exclude VAT.
