Recycling Centres

We provide many community recycling facilities across the Borough and a large household waste recycling centre at Haverton Hill, Billingham.

Community Recycling Centres

Our community recycling centres are located across the Stockton Borough in convenient places such as supermarket car parks and shopping centres.

At the community recycling centre you will find several different containers each allowing you to recycle everything from bottles to books.

Household Waste Recycling Centre, Haverton Hill

Stockton Council and Middlesbrough Council provide a facility for household waste and recycling at Haverton Hill in Billingham. The Household Waste Recycling Centre is managed by SITA UK and can be used by the residents of both councils for the disposal of household waste and recyclable materials.

The site is a popular venue for recycling items not collected from the kerbside, so please be aware that at peak times you may have a short wait as many other like-minded residents use the facility to recycle unwanted things.
