Yarm Library

Built in the 1960's and situated on the High Street in Yarm, the library now prospers from the rapid rise in the town's population. Many residents of Ingleby Barwick and other surrounding communities and villages travel to use the Library. The library offers a separate children's section and also a reading room.

As the Yarm area is a popular settling place for people from all over the world, the library is host to people of many nationalities. As Yarm also hosts a fair, the library plays a large part in offering activities for the visiting travellers and their families, recognising the event as an annual tradition. Both visitors and residents are all very welcome!
