Opened in 1939 this purpose built building also houses Priority Services ( Housebound, Prisons, Hospitals, Bookbus and Mobile Library services) and provides garaging for their mobile library which services the Borough of Stockton, through 10 daily routes, operating on a 2 weekly timetable from Monday to Friday.
Standing on a grassed area at the curve of Bedale Avenue, facing Wharfdale Avenue, the Library provides adequate parking for all.
