Clarence Street, Stockton-On-Tees
Planning consent for a new doctors surgery on Clarence Street, was granted on the 5th March 2008.
A condition of the consent was that a number of access improvements were to be carried out as part of the development. These works included:
- new signalised pedestrian crossing (off the A177 Durham Road by-pass)
- improved pedestrian link from the surgery to Norton Road
- real-time display at the existing bus stop on Norton Road
These works were completed on 16 February 2009.
Further works scheduled to be carried out:
- construct a Toucan crossing on the A177 Durham Road
Details of the works are shown in the attached drawing, No. D2/92/1/1.
The works were completed 27 April 2009.
