Major improvement works at the busy junction on the A1027 near Sainsbury's were recently completed on 7th October 2008 when the new traffic signals were commissioned.
The recent improvements which involved road widening and the installation of improved signalling were designed to remove traffic conflicts and their overall aim is to reduce potential traffic accidents with vehicles turning right particularly into Bishopton Road West.
