Traffic and Accident Data

Road Traffic and accident data is collected which includes:

  • Traffic flow on principal roads
  • Accidents that occur on the Borough's roads which involve personal injury

This information is collected and fed into our studies to identify problems which occur on the highway.

A summary of 2005, 2006 and 2007 Traffic Flows can be found in the files below, these documents list results of all Traffic surveys that have been carried out in the last few years.

Elements of the road accident data information is of a confidential nature, however, we do provide a Road Casualty Review which summaries accident data. This review can be viewed from all main libraries in the Borough and on this page by clicking on the label 'Road Casualty Review' listed on the left.

For further information regarding Traffic & Accident Data please email us.
