Pedestrian Training

Road Safety Education and Training has a central role to play in ensuring that the young are aware of and able to choose walking as one of a range of ways of travelling in the borough.
We provide a pedestrian training service to year three pupils across the Borough with a team of full-time trainers.

Over three 20-minute sessions they aim to impart knowledge of road safety issues, and promote good road sense, as well as teaching the vital skills that will help the children to continue to choose walking as a safe, sustainable mode of transport.
