Local Sustainable Transport Fund Bid

The Local Sustainable Transport Fund is a 4 year funding stream of £560m that English Local Authorities have been invited to bid for by the Department for Transport.

The fund aims to provide funding, both capital and revenue, for the support and promotion of sustainable transport including cycling and walking.  A decision on successful bids is expected in July 2011.
