Multi lingual service
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council provides support for children who do not have English as their first language. This may be by bi-lingual classroom assistants or by specialist bi-lingual teachers.
We also provide support and assessments for new arrivals including asylum seeker and refugee pupils.
All referrals should be made the child's school who will contact the team.
