School Improvement Advisors (SIAs)
All schools in Stockton-on-Tees have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated School Improvement Adviser.
Through a planned annual programme of visits, SIAs work alongside school leadership teams to offer timely challenge and support with a particular focus on standards and progress. Transparent criteria shared between the school, SIA and governors identifies, as part of the process, if there are any specific concerns and the mechanisms by which they will be addressed.
