Secondary Strategy
The Secondary Strategy in Stockton-on-Tees has at its heart the fundamental belief that every child matters and that all young people should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. All Stockton's Children should leave school with the knowledge, qualifications and life skills to enable them to play a full and active part in 21st Century society, ultimately leading to success and economic well being. The aim of Stockton's Secondary Strategy is to continually improve educational practice so that every young person benefits from a rich learning experience. A broad and personalised curriculum, built on prior learning and carefully structured on the Key Stages is an essential element of the strategy.
