Primary Strategy
Stockton-on-Tees' approach to Primary Education has at its heart the principles of Excellence and Enjoyment. Every pupil is entitled to receive the best possible education and achieve the highest standards.
Stockton primary schools provide a broad and challenging curriculum which aims to meet pupils' needs. Such a curriculum involves first hand experience and is taught in ways which make sense to different learners. Pupils learn best when the curriculum is enriched and pupils are encouraged to value learning for its own sake. Achievement raises self-esteem and this enables pupils to tackle more challenging work and develop positive attitude to learning.
