Monitoring and Evaluation
The over arching strategic purpose of Stockton-on-Tees School Effectiveness Service is to support, challenge and demonstrate leadership towards schools to ensure the Council's vision of continuous school improvement and support for individual pupils is achieved within a partnership of mutual trust and respect.
The service aims to ensure continuous school improvement and accountability through critical intervention in inverse proportion to need. This aim is operationalised in the attached documents which outline how monitoring and evaluation of leadership and management, the quality of provision and pupils attainment / progress is achieved and what proportional support is available to schools.
