Graduate Teacher Programme - Introduction Week
All trainees are required to attend a week (five days) of introductory activities during July 2012 (final date to be confirmed) prior to starting the programme.
The programme for the week is designed to:
- provide information about the partnership and the Stockton-on-Tees Graduate Teaching programme
- introduce you to the partnership team
- begin to develop your understanding of teaching and learning
- begin the process of self-evaluation and action planning which will be the basis of your learning throughout the coming year
You will spend much of the week in your lead school getting to
know; the training co-ordinator, the school-based
tutor, other school personnel and the children and young
people that you will be working with.
During the centre-based sessions you will meet the partnership
manager, administrator; co-ordinator; external
consultants, current trainees and your school partnership
representative.
NB: We are unable to make payment to trainees attending the
introductory week.
