Leadership and Management

Here in Stockton-on-Tees we firmly believe and endorse the words of the DfES that, 'We know that without strong leadership, schools are destined to struggle.' For this reason we need the best headteachers and the best leadership teams in our schools. To support and maintain the high level of leadership already in Stockton schools we aim to provide high quality support, challenge and CPD for leaders at all levels. We recognise the need for succession planning to 'grow' our own leaders in order to strengthen the capacity of schools to continue the drive in raising attainment and achievement for all young people.
