Stockton Authority run termly English as an Additional Language (EAL)/ Ethnic Minority Achievement (EMA) Networks where up to two representatives from all our schools are welcome to attend.
The aim of these network meetings is to provide EAL/EMA professional development in a supportive and sustainable way through the Primary Strategy in order to raise achievement for all pupils. For this reason the networks are aimed at EAL/EMA Leaders so that they can cascade the professional development to all staff throughout their school. The resources and training generated from these networks is added to TRAIN so that they become a sustainable resource across the Authority.
