School Effectiveness
The School Effectiveness Service Group includes a range of services dedicated to working in partnership with schools to raise standards and make reality of the Council vision of Stockton as the best place to be educated in.
We monitor and evaluate schools' performance, identify and disseminate good practice, and work alongside those schools requiring additional support to improve.
We believe that all children and young people should be provided with every opportunity to shine. To this end School Effectiveness includes the Advisory Service, School and Governor Support, Behaviour for Learning, Attendance, Sports Development Services and the Tees Valley Music Service.
Our vision is of Stockton as a vibrant learning community, where high quality lifelong learning is regarded as an entitlement and expectation. All our work is predicated towards achieving this vision.
