A) Procedures in Stockton

The Local Safeguarding Chidren Board works within national, regional and local guidelines. The local procedures we work to are contained in the documents below and are updated regularly to reflect local and national changes.

They are called 'Procedures for Working Together to Safeguard and Promote the Welfare of Children in Stockton-on-Tees', and replace the Stockton-on-Tees Area Child Protection Committee Procedures which were sometimes referred to as the 'Jade Book'. You will soon be asked to destroy any copies of the ACPC procedures that you may have as they are now out of date.
