Fees for Marriages and Civil Partnership

We undertake ceremonies for Marriages and Civil Partnerships at several locations across the Stockton Borough.

Ceremony in the Statutory Room (Register Office)

The following fees apply for Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies within the Statutory Room.

Notice of Marriage or Civil Partnership fee: £33.50 per person

Booking fee (non-refundable): £25.00

Cost of ceremony

Monday to Saturday: £43.50 - includes statutory fee of £40.00 plus one certificate of Marriage/Civil Partnership. You can also buy certificates after the ceremony.

Ceremony in the Nightingale Suite (Register Office)

The following fees apply for Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies within the Nightingale Suite.

Notice of Marriage or Civil Partnership fee: £33.50 per person

Booking fee (non-refundable): £25.00

Cost of ceremony - includes one certificate of Marriage/Civil Partnership. You can also buy certificates after the ceremony.

Monday to Thursday: £90.00
Friday: £120.00
Saturday: £150.00
Sunday and Bank Holidays: £200.00

Ceremony at the Music Room (Preston Hall Museum and Park)

The following fees apply for Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies within the Nightingale Suite.

Notice of Marriage or Civil Partnership fee: £33.50 per person

Booking fee (non-refundable): £25.00

Cost of ceremony - includes room hire cost of £170.00 and one certificate of Marriage/Civil Partnership. You can also buy certificates after the ceremony.

Monday to Wednesday and Bank Holidays: no bookings
Thursday: £268.50
Friday: £298.50
Saturday: £378.50
Sunday (selected dates): £398.50

We accept payment by debit and credit cards. A service charge will be added for card payments. Fees are subject to an annual review.
