The Register Office at Stockton on Tees is home to both Registration and Bereavement Services. We are a busy,
customer-focused team, aiming to provide the highest quality, friendly and
efficient service to a wide range of customers. Team work is an essential
part of our service
Within the Register Office website you will be able to find information on
how to register births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships, help you with a
naming ceremony, renewal of vows or organising a civil funeral. Our staff can help you get
to the root of your family tree - we are more than happy to
help you with your research to lead you even further back in time
Office opening hours are:
Monday - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Tuesday - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Wednesday - 8.30 am to 5.00
pm
Thursday - 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
Friday - 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
An appointment system is in operation for a variety of our services - please check the relevant page for further advice.
In extreme emergency (out of hours), please telephone (01642) 618946
Please note: as from 6 April 2010 Standard Birth, Marriage or Death certificates issued by Superintendent Registrar increase to £9.00 per certificate
Issued by Registrar at the time of registration £3.50 per certificate, after the time of registration £7.00 per certificate
