Thornaby Town Centre Redevlopment at Night Block B - Concept Image

The first shops have now opened in Thornaby Town Centre which is benefitting from a £30m redevelopment to create a modern and vibrant town centre that the people of Thornaby can be proud of. St Peter's House opened on the 17th November and the construction of Vale House which will boast new national retailers is well underway. A new link road will also be provided linking Allensway through to either Trenchard or Teddar Avenue.

In addition to the Town Centre redevelopment scheme, the Council and the developer are looking for solutions to improve the privately owned former Tristar Neasham site.

The Council is also seeking solutions to bring the historic Grade II listed Thornaby Town Hall building back to life.
