Consultation

A second round of consultation was undertaken in January / February 2008 to seek the public's views on the refurbishment scheme and new activities proposed.

Overall support was received for the exciting extension works and 75% of respondents stated that they would use Splash if the proposed plans went ahead.

As a result of the consultation activities aimed specifically at young people will be provided. Splash is really popular with young people and the Council and Tees Active will continue working with youth workers and schools to make sure the use of facilities is maximised.
