Splash Refurbishment Proposals

The multi million pound extension to enhance the already hugely popular Splash Leisure Centre in Stockton is due to start in November.........

The works which signify an investment of £2.5 million will take 12 months to complete, during which time Splash will remain open. The exciting refurbishment plans include the following state of the art sport facilities:

Extension of the Activ8 fitness facility approximately doubling the current capacity, (from 45 to 75 station) along with changing rooms with a dedicated disabled changing room and modern state of the art fitness equipment
Health consultation rooms
Extended foyer and relocated reception area
Expanded café area and new catering service
Two new multi-activity spaces
Addition of a large multi use activity space incorporating two badminton courts plus additional changing rooms

A range of new sports activities will also be introduced which will provide fun and challenging opportunities for people of all ages to participate in sport. New activities could include martial arts; mini gymnastics; aerobics; spinning; dance classes, badminton, plus the latest sports wall and dance mat technology.
