Thornaby regeneration
The new £30m Pavilion Shopping Centre,
Thornaby Town Centre has officially opened. Boasting new
retailers such as New Look, Bonmarche, Wilkinsons, Grainger Games and Home
Bargains as well as a number of local retailers. 
The streetscape has also been completely revamped to create a modern and vibrant town centre that the people of Thornaby can be proud of.
In addition to the Town Centre redevelopment scheme, the Council has announced plans to improve the privately owned former Tristar Neasham site, demolishing existing buildings to provide temporary car parking facilities.
The council is also seeking solutions to bring the historic Grade II listed Thornaby Town Hall building back to life.
