Stockton Heritage in Partnership
The Stockton Heritage in Partnership Initiative (SHiP) is an exciting collaboration between English Heritage and Stockton Council.
The aim of the project is to secure the preservation and enhancement of part of the historic core of Stockton (shown below) as a catalyst for the regeneration of neighbouring streets and the wider town centre.
The grant giving phase of this project ended on 31st March 2011. There are a further two years for the supported projects to be completed.
Due to the large size of the Stockton Town Centre conservation area it was not possible to make improvements to all of our historic buildings.
Please take a look at supported projects.
