Billingham Regeneration

Stockton Council is working in partnership with other organisations to improve the town of Billingham for current and future generations.

Key projects include working with the private sector to bring forward the redevelopment of the Town Centre to create a vibrant and modern town that the people of Billingham can be proud of.  Progress has already started with the demolition of La Ronde and Forum House which featured in a 2005 survey of the top 10 town centre priorities that the people in Billingham want.

In addition Billingham Forum, a leisure and recreation facility located in the heart of Billingham Town Centre is benefitting from a £15m refurbishment programme and will reopen to the public in January 2011.
