Housing Supply Assessment 2011 - 2016
Planning Policy Statement 3: Housing requires Local Planning Authorities to identify and maintain a rolling five year supply of deliverable land for housing.
PPS 3 states that for sites to be deliverable they need to be:
- available (the site is available now);
- suitable (the site offers a suitable location for development now and would contribute to the creation of sustainable communities); and
- achievable (there is a reasonable prospect that housing on the site will be deliverable on the site within five years).
You can download the Council's most up-to-date assessment below. This shows the supply of sites the Council expects dwellings to have been built on between 1 April 2011 and 31 March 2016.
