Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) Level 2

JBA Consulting was commissioned in May 2009 by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council to undertake a review of the existing Tees Valley Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) published in 2007. The updated Stockton-on-Tees SFRA has been prepared in accordance with Planning Policy Statement 25: Development and Flood Risk and was completed in June 2010. A steering group that included representation from Northumbrian Water and the Environment Agency guided the review.

The Stockton-on-Tees SFRA consists of a Level 1 SFRA and a Level 2 SFRA. The purpose of the Stockton-on-Tees Level 2 SFRA is to provide an assessment of flood risk at key development and regeneration locations within the Borough.

The Level 2 SFRA report and the associated maps are available to view in the Additional Resources section at the end of this page.
