Environment DPD

The Environment Development Plan Document (DPD) is part of the Local Development Framework (LDF). The Environment DPD will deal principally with the protection and enhancement of the natural, built and historic environment and the delivery of green infrastructure within Stockton on Tees Borough.

The Issues and Options report is the first stage in the process and presents the chance to consider how different policy options might deliver or hinder broader local community priorities and test whether those choices fit well with national and regional policy and guidance.

The public and stakeholders were invited to make comments on the content of the Issues and Options document from 31 January 2011 to 14 March 2011. The Spatial Planning Team would like to thank everyone who participated in the consultation. Work is underway to prepare the next stage of the Environment DPD and your comments will be taken into account as this document is produced. There will be a further opportunity to comment on the policies the Council is preparing in due course.

The Issues and Options document and Appendices can be downloaded in the Additional Resources section at the end of this webpage.
