Pathfinder Environmental Programme
A look at how we approached making the Parkfield and Mill Lane a better environment to live in.
This involved looking at how we could clean up the streets, improve building conditions and create recreational facilities in the Neighbourhood Management area.
The NM area has also benefited from schemes funded via Neighbourhood Renewal and New Opportunities Funding. These have included alley gates, removal of unsightly planters that acted as litter traps and improvements to recreational spaces such as school fields. The Council’s Development and Regeneration Services planned these schemes in consultation with local residents and the NM Board.
