The areas of Portrack, Tilery, Victoria, Queen's Park and Mount Pleasant have been selected by Stockton Renaissance to benefit from Neighbourhood Element funding.

Neighbourhood Element is an initiaitve which has been funded for four years and aims to improve the quality of life for people in the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods and ensure services providers are more responsive to neighbourhood needs and improve their delivery.

The St Ann's Development Board has been established in order to develop the Neighbourhood Element initative in these areas.

The Neighbourhood Element funds have been allocated over the four years as follows:

2006/7: £412,800

2007/8: £516,000

2008/9: £412,800

2009/10: £258,000
