PIC Network

youth matters

The PIC (Participation, Involvement and Consultation) Network was set up to make sure that we are working closely with other organisations and agencies in the best way possible to involve young people like you.

At the moment, the PIC Network has over 70 members representing organisations and services that engage with young people in many different ways both inside and outside of the Council.

The aim of the PIC Network is so that we can contact and share information with others about the best possible ways to involve young people as well as being a mechanism for getting young people's views through active participation.

A big part of the PIC Network is the PIC Strategy, a plan which details everything we think we need to do to include young people in planning, taking part in and giving feedback on services.

The Strategy was produced with young people involved so we had the best idea possible of where you wanted to be involved and the types of things we should be doing to include you.

To go with the Strategy, we came up with an Action Plan which tells us exactly what we need to do and by when. Our aim is to make sure you are fully involved in Council decision-making.
