Club and Coach Awards 2008

2008 Club and Coach Awards Evening

The work of sports clubs , coaches and volunteers across Stockton Borough was recognised at the annual Stockton on Tees 2008 Club and Coach Awards ceremony at Judges Country Hotel , Kirklevington in May this year.

These awards recognised the achievements of local coaches and volunteers who worked tirelessly at their own clubs without any monetory support throughout the year..

Many of the coaches and volunteers not only invested many hours of unpaid time to help others in sport but also assisted their own clubs with cash donations.

These awards not only rewarded those who have put so much back into the community through sport but also recognised those unsung heroes who worked unnoticed in the background of many of the local clubs /organisations across Stockton.

The awards evening was a celebration of their achievements and was held on the evening of Wednesday 14th May 2008.

More than 100 coaches , volunteers and club representatives attended this years awards evening with six awards being keenly contested .
