Disability Sport in Stockton

sportsability in action
Stockton Sports Development are currently working in partnership with a number of agencies around disability sport. They are working on increasing opportunities for people with disabilities and special needs.

Stockton Parent and Support have worked in partnership with the Sports Development team for the last 5 years and have had remarkable success with the Sportsability Club that runs on a Saturday morning 10am-12pm at Northfield School and Specialist Sports Club. The idea of the club is to engage more young people to participate in sports and gain a taste of different sports with the intention to join a mainstream club in order to compete in a particular sport.
