Training Opportunities
Courses For Teachers and Non-Teachers
A Continuous Professional Development is available for teachers and other adults involved in out-of-school-hours activities, with low-cost access to courses that will enable them to:
- Refresh and update their information and knowledge
- Learn about a different sport to broaden their expertise
- Obtain qualifications.
The courses are open to:
- All teachers, both PE specialists and non-specialists, who contribute to out-of-school-hours work in mainstream and special schools.
- Adults who are actively involved in coaching out-of-school-hours sport and have been recommended by their school to attend.
- Physical education students who are in year three or four of an initial teacher-training course or on a PGCE physical education course.
