Leisure and Sports Development
Stockton-on-Tees Leisure and Sports Development service aims to help all Stockton Borough residents achieve their sporting potential.
We work in partnership with a variety of local sports clubs and national organisations to encourage participation in a variety of sports and activities.
A whole range of sport themed events, such as Stockton Triathlon, the Stockton River Rat Race and many community-based programmes, are held throughout the Borough throughout the year.
We provide training opportunities for school staff as well as encouraging the development of coaches and volunteers.
Whenever possible we encourage people to help shape our sport and leisure strategies and policies through active consultation with our communities.
