The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency
By Alexander McCall Smith
Easy going not complicated sometimes predictable 3/5
This book transported me to a world of which I knew nothing. Africa,
especially Botswana, is a pulsating place peopled with people I could
relate to and really care about. My values were shared by these characters
and the story gave me a real lift 5/5
I read this at one sitting - good read, doesn't tax the brain at all - very
easy, a little implausible how it all gets solved. Africa came to life a
little -sunrises/sunsets-vegetation, customs, smells
4/5
